The Iowa Rock ' n Roll Music Association encourages and supports education in Music at all levels.
The Members, Inductees, Board Members and other Volunteers of the Association are available to assist educational institutions, private and public, in bringing their expertise of the history of Rock and Roll Music throughout the State of Iowa.

4R's
Iowa has always had a love affair with music and dancing. From the rural sounds of early American Music to Country, Big Bands and then Rock & roll, the Iowa cornfields have always been alive with the sound of music.
During the Swing era, Iowa's many ballrooms flourished. Big Bands found the mid-west to be a veritable oasis full of good people with happy dancing feet.
Rock & Roll was accepted into these jitterbug havens rather quickly, soon instead of Swingin', the ballrooms started Rockin'.
The 4R's is a special program presented by members of the Iowa Rock N Roll Music Association who not only helped establish Rock and Roll music in Iowa, but continue to keep it's spirit alive. Iowa's rich history of modern music is being brought to the young generations to help them understand how much Rock & Roll music has imprinted itself on the young people of Iowa in the past 50 years.
The 4R's is a fun, informative and interactive program that needs to be experienced by every student in every school.
