Tickets are now available for the 2010 Iowa Rock 'n Roll Music Association Hall of Fame Induction Awards Ceremony and Concert.
The annual event takes place in the Roof Garden at Arnolds Park on Sunday, Sept. 5 from 5 p.m. to midnight. “We have an outstanding class of nominees for Hall of Fame honors this year,” said IRRMA President John Senn. “The music will be great and the entire event from the awards at the beginning to the last song will be a memory of a lifetime, not only for the inductees but for the audience as well.”
Tickets can be purchased online in the shopping cart below, at the IRRMA museum in Arnolds Park or by phoning the IRRMA office at 712-338-2096. The cost is $28 per ticket with children under five years of age free. IRRMA members will pay $25 per ticket.
“We have added a new VIP section to our seating area. We are offering a limited number of tables (12) for only $125 each,” Senn continued. “It is your choice as to who sits at that table with you.”
There will be eight chairs per table and each person must purchase the admission ticket before sitting at the table. To reserve a table for eight, call the IRRMA office phone number listed above. Only 12 tables will be available for the event. The rest of the seating is by general admission.

We are raffling off a brand new Gretsch Electromatic Double Jet Guitar during the Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Music Association 2010 Labor Day “Spectacular” Hall of Fame weekend.
Rules
Only 150 tickets have been printed. Our intent is to sell those tickets from now through September 5 at which time the drawing will take place. If, at that time, there are still tickets available we will be forced to keep the raffle going beyond September 5.
Tickets: $10 each – There is no limit on how many you may buy.
You do not need to be present to win and tickets are available by calling the IRRMA office at (712) 338-2096 with your credit card information and we will register you.

A Rock the Roof Roadshow takes place in Tipton on Saturday, Sept. 18 on the back courhouse lawn. Remember to bring your lawnchairs. Richie Lee & the Fabulous 50's plus Midnite Express will provide an outstanding evening of entertainment from 7 to 10 o'clock. The gate will open at 6:30. Tickets are $10 or $8 for IRRMA members and $5 for children. The tickets may be purchased at the gate or in advance from the Tipton Cheerleaders who will sell them door to door. Nob Hill Ballroom at Decorah hosts a Rock the Roof Roadshow on Sunday, Sept. 19. Midnite Express and Endless Summer will entertain from 2-6 p.m. Doors will open at 1:30 p.m. Tickets are available at the door for $10 or $8 for IRRMA members and $5 for children.
