Tom Tourville receives Volunteer Award

Iowa First Lady Mari Culver presented the Governor’s Award Volunteer Award to Tom Tourville of Spirit Lake.

Tourville was nominated for the honor by the Iowa RockNRoll Music Association (IRRMA). “Tom co-founded IRRMA back in 1997 and has spent 12 years volunteering his time and skills to running the Association and its museum,” said IRRMA President Tom Golden of Arnolds Park . “We are very pleased that Governor Culver honored Tom for all that he has done for us.”

The ceremony took place at Buena Vista University in Storm Lake.
