Tim’s rock and roll background spans more than 50 years. He began his rock journey in 1967, when he and four other Danville jr. high classmates formed a rock band and played at his school’s jr. high dance. Their first song played: Little Red Riding Hood by Sam The Sham And The Pharaohs.
In his career, Tim has played with 11 different rock groups; most recently with Lone Tree Revival. He has played with numerous Iowa Rock and Roll Music Assn. Hall Of Fame members: Eddie Hart in Clockwork, Paul Miller and Tom Nelson in Leaving Abbey, Dean Davis, Jeremy Ober, Dan Cassady, and Steve Nelson in Lone Tree Revival, Glen Henrickson in Galaxy, Jonnie Bolin in Sioux City Rockestra, Vance Jorgensen, and the entire 2023 Induction Class, including Jimmy Ryan, Melanie Rosales, and Rebecca Fox.
Tim’s rock band history:
1967: The Cool Cats, 1972-73: Whiffle Tree Swell Engine, 1972-75: Chameleon, which later became Clockwork,1985-92: Galaxy, 2010: The Temptations: Midwest Tour Concert, 2011: Vic Ferrari Band - Symphony Rocks, Tour Concert, 2012-14: Sioux City Rockestra, 2014-16: Leaving Abbey - guest performer, 2015-16: Peaches & Diesel & the Barrelhouse Horns - opened for Shemekia Copeland, 2017-present: Lone Tree Revival - opened for Head East, Molly Hatchet, and Brett Michaels.
Since 1992, Tim also plays/has played Lead Trumpet in the following groups: Humboldt Big Band, Jive For Five brass quintet, Fort Dodge Area Symphony, Karl L. King Municipal Band of Fort Dodge, Dick Bauman Big Band, Jazz Coalition Big Band of Mason City, the 515 Big Band, as well as playing guitar and bass guitar with the praise band at Northfield Church in Fort Dodge.
Tim began playing trumpet in 4th grade at the age of 9, and guitar at age 12. He became a Band Director in 1976, teaching Instrumental Music for 40 years in the public schools in Iowa. He has been both the Karl L. King Distinguished Service Active and Karl L. King Distinguished Service Retired Director nominee from the North Central Iowa Bandmasters Assn. District and has on multiple occasions been named to "Who's Who Among America's Teachers”. He is a member of the horn section of Lone Tree Revival, who received the Spirit Award in 2023 from the Iowa Rock and Roll Music Association.
Tim and Debra, his wife of 48 years, live in Humboldt. They have three children and seven grandchildren.

Scott Moore

Scott Moore’s musical journey began on the Omaha Show Wagon stage in the summer of 1974. By 1978, he had earned his first paycheck as a performer, setting the stage for a dynamic and diverse career. A graduate of Wayne State College with dual degrees in Music Composition and Psychology, Scott has become a fixture in the Midwest music scene and Beyond, collaborating with countless ensembles and artists.
Career highlights include winning Omaha’s “Battle of the Bands” with Tempus Fugit (1983), touring England with the Wayne State Madrigal ensemble (1985), and co-producing the soundtrack for “Omaha, the Movie” (1993). From 2001-2003, Scott toured America and Asia as part of “The Wanted” alongside Dreamworks/Warner Brothers artist Jolie Edwards.
An accomplished arranger and performer, Scott has contributed vocal and orchestral works at the high school, collegiate, and professional levels since 1980. His long-standing role as an on-call jazz pianist for the Omaha Symphony (2013-present) showcases his versatility, as does his tenure with the Midwest’s premier Pink Floyd tribute act Floyd since 2011. In 2023, he performed his arrangement of “The Wall” with the Kanesville Symphony.
Since 2016, Scott has been a key member of the 70’s tribute band PetRock, performing his symphonic arrangements with the Omaha Symphony in 2020, with more collaborations on the horizon.
Scott’s enduring passion for music and dedication to excellence have cemented his reputation as a remarkable performer, arranger, and collaborator.
